Switching to Mailcoach

Moving from Revue to Mailcoach

The Twitter Revue newsletter service will shut down soon. Luckily you can easily move your audience over to Mailcoach.

If you’re currently using Twitter Revue, then you probably know it will shut down soon. Luckily it’s very easy to move your audience from Revue to Mailcoach.

If you’re looking for a Revue alternative, Mailcoach also allows you to send newsletters to email lists of any size. We can also display your sent newsletters in a beautiful newsletter website, where people can subscribe to your future editions. Of course, you can style that page however you want. Here’s an example.

In addition to sending out newsletter campaigns, Mailcoach can also send out drip campaigns and transactional emails. You can discover all of our extensive features on our marketing website and our docs. In many scenarios, Mailcoach will be your most affordable solution when comparing to other alternatives.

Let’s walk you through how you can move your subscribers from Revue to Mailcoach. Spoiler: it’s very straightforward because the Mailcoach importer supports the Revue exporter’s format.

To get started, export your subscribers at Revue:

When you pick that action, Revue will start preparing the export. After a few moments, you’ll get an email from Revue that contains a link to the CSV file containing all of your subscribers.

Click that link to download the CSV to your computer. Next, it’s time to login to Mailcoach or start your free 14-day trial (no credit card required!). After following all of the onboarding steps, it’s time to create a new email list.

On the Subscribers screen of a list, click the three dots next to “Add subscriber” and click the import option.

On the import screen, select your CSV file and start the upload process. After a couple of moments, all of your Revue subscribers will have been imported into Mailcoach. It’s that easy!

EDIT: Revue now allows you to download your past editions and stats. We can import that data for you. Simply mail us your Revue export.
